I'm a competitive programmer turned Software Engineer — Third Prize at the ICPC Asia Hanoi Regional Contest and Second Prize at the Vietnam Olympiad in Informatics, plus LeetCode 1756 (Top 10% globally).
After 4+ years building backend, distributed, and applied-AI systems, I'm now doing my M.Sc. in Computer Science at University of Passau, Germany, to move into the work my algorithmic training was built for: compilers, program analysis, and runtime systems — LLVM/MLIR, IR design and optimization passes, and performance engineering.
Along the way I built log ingestion pipelines for an observability platform handling 40TB of logs/month, built production GenAI platforms, scaled a side product to 20,000+ users, and cut infrastructure costs by up to 75% through caching and optimization strategies.
